went to a field Hospital then about 50 miles in a ambulance then arrived at
evactuation Hospital no6 then was sent to Base 18 near New Chateau.
From there to Base 114 near Bordeaux.
arrived at Bordeaux Oct 11 1918 Left Base 114 on October 11 for Camp
Hunt to be sent to my outfit. I
met corp. Robinson there. left
Camp hunt caring a Rifle and doughboy equipment left camp hunt on the 14.
got on a box car 40 of us. I
rode in it six days. went most
all over France landed at Commercey. Then
went by auto from there to monsiville then to the company again.
stayed there a few days then went up Front.

were fully equiped for our journey into Germany.
we started hiking on in Germany on November 21 we hiked to some very
beautiful country and a few large cities we followed the mosyelle River.
we went through Lorraine we were on the road till Dec. when we arrived
in Hambush where we stayed till May when we moved into the 42nd Division Area.
we turned in all our horses on May 27 and all moved together in
neuenahr and was in naln till July 11 then we went to Brest by way of Belgium
we arrived in Brest July 14.

July 29 we arrived in the U.S.A. we
arrived at pier no 8 at Hoboken then we went by ferry to Jersy City and took a
train for Camp Merritt I left Camp Merritt Aug 2 for Camp Dix and on Aug 4 was
mustered out of the U.S. Army.
