77th Field Artillery Regiment Association Reunion Photos - 2014

The reunion was held again this year at the Amelia Hotel, Fernandina Beach, Florida, on the beautiful Ameilia Island on September 18th to 22nd. Fernandina Beach is the NE most point in Florida. The next island to the north is Cumberland Island, Georgia. Cumberland Island was the winter home of several notables such as the Carnegies and Rockefellers. Amelia Island is 18.5 miles north to south and 2.5 miles east to west.

The hotel overlooked a pristine beach on the Atlantic Ocean and an excellent seafood restaurant with a beachside Tiki Bar that served as a convenient TOC. We had over 50 people attend the banquet on Friday night that included an all you can eat Bar-B-Que dinner and an open bar. The women enjoyed shopping in the "open mall" of Fernandina and the many fine dining spots downtown.

Photos compliments of Don Gross (new President of the 77th FAR) and Paul Guetter (Current President of 77th FAR). They concentrated on these areas:

1. Actual Reunion & Related Activities to include election of new offficers. Page 1.
2. Reunion Banquet & Related Activities. Page 2.
3. Amelia Island and related areas (to include restaurants, site seeing and shopping areas for the ladies). Page 3.

Our intent was to show how beautiful the area of Amelia Island is in the belief we can draw more interest and members to the 2015 reunion. If you have any questions, please contact Paul Guetter or Don Gross.
